Success of Design Hub GRid70 Results In Expansion

GRid70 building exterior file photo FOX 17GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grid70 was created almost three years ago by a group of major area corporations seeking to create a workplace where people could collaborate and share creative ideas. Now, the unique business set-up, called a design hub, is so successful that they need to expand.

The facility features common areas and meeting rooms where people from different companies can come together and share ideas.

The owner of the building at 70 Ionia SW, Rockford Construction, bought the building next door and renovations are complete, with more space and opportunities.

“The demand has been great, and people love our set-up,” said Mike Mraz of Rockford Construction. “They can come in give us their needs and ideas, and we will give them the space.”

The anchor corporations in GRid70 are Meijer, Wolverine Worldwide, Steelcase, and Amway give this location more than enough credibility.
