ALLENDALE, Mich – Grand Valley State senior Katie Martin broke 3 school records with a home run in the 2nd game of a doubleheader Wednesday against Northwood. Martin’s home run broke school records for career home runs, hits and runs scored. Martin already held 3 other career records at Grand Valley.
The Lakers split the doubleheader with Northwood winning the first game 4-2 and losing the nightcap 9-5. GVSU is now 9-1 in the GLIAC and 21-3 overall on the season.
