WAYLAND, Mich. — Pavement repairs were scheduled to return to US-131 in Allegan County Tuesday.
For the past two weeks, crews have intermittently closed lanes on northbound US-131 between the Wayland exit 64 and the Kent County line, making repairs to cracks in the pavement. Crews are scheduled to confine their work to between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day through Friday, March 29.
The lane closures are likely to be confined to only stretches of road where crews are doing the work, so I expect traffic will not be slowed along the entire length of highway from Wayland to Byron Center.
