GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- It covers 143 acres, welcoming families to get their hands dirty while getting closer to nature. Blandford Nature Center located at 1715 Hillburn Ave, NW, is offering wonderful events for families who want to stay around West Michigan this Spring Break, too.
Maple syrup is popular on the breakfast table and on March 16, from 2p.m. to 3:30 p.m., guests are invited to come see how it is made at the sugarshack and learn about Native American, Pioneer and other modern methods.
Also on March 16, kids ages 7 and older, can go behind the scenes to see how injured animals are cared for at the rehab center. The cost is $5 for members and $6 for non-members.
Are you ready for spring? Come celebrate the change of the seasons on March 21 from 6p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Blandford in the Learning Lab. There will be crafts and games for all ages.
