ALLEGAN, Mich. — Laura Grauman is back in Allegan after serving time in Colorado.
Laura was captured in Canon City with the fugitive group that included her boyfriend, Greg Bradshaw, her cousin, Kenneth Grauman, and his girlfriend, Brittany Rector.
Police said the fugitives had a working meth lab in their room at the time of arrest.
Laura was charged with use of the drug and theft of a license plate and car.
Laura accepted a plea deal in Colorado and was ordered to serve around 90 days in jail.
She must also testify against the other members of the group including her cousin and boyfriend.
Allegan County officials confirm she has been questioned locally and prosecutors will determine in the coming days whether charges should be filed.
“Since their arrest in Colorado, Laura Grauman has been back here in Michigan,” said Frank Baker, Allegan County Sheriff’s Office. “So far she’s been cooperative with us. She has met with our detectives and has been able to assist them in finalizing some of the parts of this case and some of the cases that we have.”
Law enforcement chased the four across the country after Greg Brandshaw and Kenneth Grauman escaped from a Lake County correctional facility and went on the run.
The four were accused of crimes in West Michigan, Indiana, Iowa and Colorado.
Laura’s family says she is declining an interview at this time.
Although detectives can’t talk about the specifics of the case, they say the information Laura is providing to them will be helpful.
“It’s obviously a complex case. There’s a lot of jurisdictions involved and a lot of different crimes involved so I know there will be some coordination probably with some of the other jurisdictions that may have potential charges in this,” said Baker.
