MONTAGUE, Mich. — Six students have a tale to tell their friends and families this weekend. Their bus hit a tree.
Six students were aboard a Montague Area Schools bus when it hit a tree that had fallen across the road in Claybanks Township, north of Montague in Oceana County. It was around 7:45 a.m. Friday morning when the bus was driving through a period of heavy snow.
None of the kids was hurt. Another bus was brought to the crash site at Scenic Drive and Winston Road, and the students went to school.
