WYOMING, Mich. – Paying it forward with artwork.
Internationally known artist Paul Collins was at Marge’s Donut Den Saturday to present one of his creations to a raffle winner.
The artwork was raffled off to help raise funds to restore water wells in parts of Africa.
John Superson, of Chicago, won the piece and there are plans for someone to take home another piece of art.
Paul Collins is shown in a recent photo with his donated piece, along with volunteers from the Samuel Omogo Foundation.
The foundation was named after a person in Africa who made a difference helping those in need.
Collins is donating another piece of art to raffle off to help aid the cause. Tickets are $10.00 and you can purchase them at Marge’s Donut Den on 28th Street.
No date has been set for the next raffle drawing.
