GRAND RAPIDS, Mich —
A vehicle fire caused traffic to back up on eastbound I-196 Tuesday morning.
The fire started on the left of the expressway shortly before 8 a.m. at the peak of rush hour.
Video recorded from the Michigan Department of Transportation camera at Lake Michigan Drive shows the vehicle engulfed in flames.
There is no audio on the video.
Fire units arrive, and what appears to be explosions are the result of firefighters dousing the fire.
