WEST MICHIGAN — Two weeks ago, we were experiencing a record cold morning and snow. Today, we are facing record heat with highs approaching 90°.

The record high Tuesday is 90° set back in 2010. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s to 90°, so this record could definitely be tied or broken.

Even if the record is not hit, high humidity will make it feel like it is well into the 90s. Make sure you have ways to stay cool if you will be outside! This could be one of the warmest days of the entire summer and the season is just beginning.

Another thing that could bring relief is a pop-up shower/t'storm after 2 p.m. today. Most will stay dry, the chance is only 20%, but a heavy downpour could visit your city to cool things off a little.

If you are not a fan of how quickly we jumped into summer, spring will return this weekend! High temperatures will only be around 70° both Satuday and Sunday will absolutely no humidity.
