WEST MICHIGAN — A weak system will swing through West Michigan Wednesday morning bringing light snow to several communities.

The snow continues to fall now but will be done by 2 PM. Locations along and south of I-96 will see the snow, but those along and south of I-94 have the best chance of seeing around an inch.

The snow could reduce visibility at times if you must drive somewhere. Snow should only accumulate on the grass, elevated surfaces, bridges and overpasses. Main roads should melt any snow but will remain wet, meaning a few slick spots could develop.

Once the snow is gone, sunshine returns for the rest of our Wednesday with temperatures still well below normal. The snow that sticks may stick around through Thursday with the cold temperatures.
