WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Erik Kostrzewa: Another uptick in lake-effect will come this evening into early Sunday morning, with the heaviest happening where it's been all day! Those along and west of US-131 and north of I-94 will see another 2" to 4" from this through Saturday afternoon. If you live along and south of I-94 and east of US-131, you will only have another inch of snow. By Saturday afternoon, the lake-effect will wind down as another wave of snow approaches from the west. This will bring more measurable snow from Saturday evening into Sunday morning. Some of it will be lake enhanced and will shift to lake-effect early Sunday. The light lake-effect snow showers and flurries will continue for the rest of Sunday into Monday. The wave of snow will late Saturday into early Sunday will bring 1" to 4", with the heaviest this time around along and south of I-96. The lake-effect snow will keep the accumulating snow going, with a few more inches along and west of US-131 Sunday and Monday.

TONIGHT: Cloudy and breezy with lake effect snow showers. Another 1" to 4", heaviest along/west of U.S. 131. Lowest amounts towards 1" will be east of US-131 and along/south of I-94. Lows in the low/middle teens. Wind chills around and just below zero. Winds west at 10 to 20 mph.

SATURDAY: Cloudy with flurries and light snow possible. More measurable snow arrives Saturday evening/night. Another 1" to 4" possible from the evening into Sunday morning. Highs only in the upper teens. Winds west at 10 to 20 mph. Wind chills at/below zero.

SUNDAY: Cloudy with scattered snow showers. Highs in the lower to mid teens.

MONDAY: Cloudy with a chance of snow showers. Highs in the middle teens.
