WEST MICHIGAN — The FOX 17 forecast from Meteorologist Anthony Domol: A windy and noticeably colder day is to be on tap to wrap up the workweek here. High temperatures land around 40 degrees with west winds at 15-25 mph, gusting to 35, perhaps 40 mph at times. The tendency will be for more clouds this morning with the best sunshine materializing as we go along this afternoon. This weekend stays dry but a fair amount of high and mid-level clouds will keep things pretty dim on Saturday as a weather system just misses us off to the south. Much better sunshine is in the forecast for Sunday. Expect temperatures to be on the chilly side. No major storm systems are anticipated into the middle of next week.
TODAY: Partly sunny morning. Becoming mostly sunny this afternoon. Windy and colder. Highs in the low 40s. Wind chills in the 20s. West winds at 15 to 25 mph. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph at times.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear during the evening, but increasing clouds overnight. Lows in the upper 20s. West winds at 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest at 5 to 10 mph late.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy and seasonably cool. Highs around 40. North winds at 5 to 10 mph.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 40s.
