WEST MICHIGAN — WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Erik Kostrzewa: The widespread, light snow will fade this evening. It will leave behind more cold air rushing over Lake Michigan to produce lake-effect snow overnight and Sunday. Those most at risk will be along and west of US-131. This round will bring another 1" to 3" along and west of US-131. The amounts closer to 3" will be for those who live closest to Lake Michigan. Another round of light, non lake-effect snow will enter the area Sunday night into Monday. Another dusting (northwest) to 2" (southeast) will fall from this event. Tuesday and Wednesday look dry!

TONIGHT: Lake-effect snow along and west of US-131. Cloudy everywhere else. Lows in the upper single digits to lower teens. Light accumulations expected.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy with light snow showers, along & west of US-131. Accumulations from Saturday evening to Sunday evening with lake-effect will be 1" to 3", heaviest along the lakeshore. Highs in the middle teens.

MONDAY: This will likely be our coldest day of the season! Mostly cloudy with light snow. Heaviest towards the I-94/I-69 interchange. A dusting to 2" possible by Monday evening. Highs around 10.

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy. Flurries possible but not likely. Highs in the middle to upper teens

WEDNESDAY: Cold morning with temps just below zero. Partly cloudy to partly sunny. Highs in the lower 20s.
