WEST MICHIGAN — WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Erik Kostrzewa: High pressure is building in from the north, and this will gradually thin-out the clouds overnight and provide with some sunshine on Friday. A warm front approaching on Saturday will bring somewhat warmer temperatures to the area, but it also appears that it will bring somewhat thicker cloudiness back to the area along with a chance of afternoon showers/thunder.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy during the evening, but becoming partly cloudy overnight. Chilly with lows in the upper 40s. East/northeast wind at around 5 mph.

TOMORROW: Partly cloudy and a bit warmer. Highs in the upper 60s to near 70°. East winds at 5 to 10 mph.

TOMORROW NIGHT: Becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 50s. Southeast winds at 5 to 10 mph.

SATURDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy. A chance for light rain showers, but it will not be a washout. Highs in the middle 70s. Southeast winds at 5 to 10 mph becoming southerly late.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Periods of light rain, with a few embedded thunderstorms possible. Mild with lows in the lower 60s.

SUNDAY: A morning shower possible, otherwise becoming partly cloudy. Best day of the weekend! Highs in the middle 70s.
