WEST MICHIGAN — The FOX 17 forecast from Meteorologist Erik Kostrzewa: Our recent mild and sunny stretch isn't going anywhere, anytime soon! We drop below the freezing mark tonight which could mean that any snow melt will freeze back up and become slick tonight. We are back into the 40s Tuesday through Thursday with minor chances of rain and snow. Little to no accumulation is expected. The weekend looks AMAZING with plenty of sun both days and temperatures well into the 40s and 50s.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy. Watch out for black ice! Lows in the upper 20s. Light wind.

TUESDAY: Some morning sunshine, otherwise increasing clouds and breezy with a chance of light rain/snow showers in the afternoon/evening. Highs in the lower/middle 40s. Winds south/southwest at 10 to 20 mph.

WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy. Slight chance of A.M. rain/snow showers south of I-96. Highs in the lower 40s.

THURSDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy with an afternoon/evening chance for rain showers. Highs in the upper 40s.
