GRAND RAPIDS — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Candace Monacelli: Warmer temperatures continue to build in on Sunday as high pressure slides east and winds turn to the south on its back side. Expect filtered sunshine with temperatures pushing 50 degrees! The milder temperatures will last much of this coming week with temepratures above average staying in the mid to upper 40s. No big storms are on the horizon but rain chances are sprinkled throughout the week mostly for the Thursday/Friday time frame. Enjoy!

TODAY: Partly sunny. Breezy and mild with highs around 50. South winds at 10 to 15 mph gusting to 25 mph.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy. South southwest winds. Lows in the mid to upper 30s.

MONDAY: Mostly cloudy. Chance for a few morning showers along and south of I-94. Highs in the low to mid 40s.
