WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Anthony Domol: Expect quiet weather for much of this evening with snow developing late evening into the early overnight hours from south to north. A Winter Weather Advisory officially begins at 7 P.M. tonight and lasts until 4 P.M. Tuesday afternoon for virtually the entire viewing area. Snow will become heavy at times early Tuesday morning leading to a general 3-4" for most locations. Plan ahead to give yourself extra time on your Tuesday morning commute. The rest of the workweek looks quiet with partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies and chilly temps in the middle 20s. Our next system to watch will arrive at some point during the back half of this coming weekend.

TONIGHT: Snow develops late in the evening. Snow will be heavy at times overnight. Lows in the mid to upper 20s. Northeast winds at 10-15 mph.

TOMORROW/TUESDAY: Snow showers continue. Highs near 30. Total accumulation is likely to be between 3-4" for most areas. Northeast to north winds at 10-15 mph.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy. Perhaps becoming partly cloudy overnight. Lows in the mid teens. North winds at 5-10 mph.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy. Highs in the middle 20s. North winds at 5-15 mph.

THURSDAY: Partly sunny. Highs in the middle 20s.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy. Highs in the middle 20s.
