SpartanNash stores are now offering two hours every Tuesday and Thursday as shopping hours for people who are part of the population who are most at risk of coming down with the coronavirus COVID-19.

SpartanNash stores include Family Fare, D&W, Family Fresh, Valuland, Supermercado Nuestra Familia, Forest Hill Foods, Ada Fresh Market, and others.

The reserved hours for those at-risk customers are 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. each Tuesday and Thursday.

In addition, SpartanNash stores that normally would be open 24 hours a day are now open 6 a.m. to midnight.

Self-serve areas such as salad bars, soup bars, and donut cases are also not operating. Those products are available in prepackaged form.

Café areas are closed.

In a release, the company noted it has ramped up its cleaning and sanitation measures.
