Federal loan programs are not the only way small businesses can get an assist in dealing with the economics of COVID-19.
The Greater Grand Rapids Chamber Foundation offers short-term relief grants of $5,000 to $10,000, plus connections to resources that include help from business consultants.
The fund aims at helping businesses in Kent County with five to 25 full-time employees.
The fund is supported by a Who’s Who of area foundations, but further contributions are needed to provide as much assistance as possible.
Email an inquiry into making a contribution: omar@grandrapids.org
One way the foundation is raising money is through t-shirt sales in partnership with The Mitten State.
