Michigan State Police are quelling what they say is "misinformation" surrounding police response during Election Day.

MSP released a thread of tweets on Twitter Wednesday, just days ahead of the election.

In the thread, MSP says that if police are called for an issue at the polls, be assured that officers will respond as normal. They added that if you encounter intimidation at the polls, to not engage. "Just walk on by and let it go," the tweet read.

State police also noted a tip line to report suspicious activity on Election Day. That number is 1-855-MICH-TIP.
