Summer Food Program with Kalamazoo Public Schools begins in July

KALAMAZOO — Kalamazoo Public Schools is prepping for a summer food program for those 18 years of age and younger. Adults up to the age of 26 are also eligible if they are enrolled in educational programs for the mentally or physically disabled.

It starts July 7 and meals will be available for pickup at several locations in Kalamazoo.

Organizers say no proof of income is needed.

*Exceptions: Fox Ridge Apartments,1320 Fox Ridge Dr., and New Village, New Village Apartments, 2500 St. Albans Way, where food distribution will be 12:30-1 p.m., and Interfaith Homes, 1037 Interfaith Blvd., and Eastside Association, 1301 E. Main St., which will be 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
