Social distancing has impacted everyone's exercise routine. The Michigan Parkinson Foundation is responding to the drastic change, and reminding everyone how important regular exercise is to slow down the progression of Parkinson's disease with the Every Step Counts For Parkinson's.
From April 30 through May 2, the Michigan Parkinson Foundation is encouraging everyone to get outside and take 2,000 steps, or approximately one mile during that time.
Participants can take a selfie or video and post it on social media with #EveryStep4PD so the organization can see them.
