It's no surprise that many pets have found new forever homes during the COVID-19 pandemic. The BISSELL Pet Foundation is assisting that mission even further by once again aiming to Empty the Shelters across the country.
From May 9 - 17, people can adopt a pet at their local animal shelter for just a fee of $25. Thanks to sponsorship from BISSELL Pet Foundation, they cover the adoption fee; new pet owners just have to pay the cost of a pet license.
Due to social distancing and COVID-19, the event will be slightly different this year. Shelters will be doing adoptions by appointment only, so call ahead to schedule a visit.
