Water precaution issued by City of Kalamazoo lifted

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The precautionary boil water advisory issued Jan. 8, 2021 is officially lifted Kalamazoo city reports. The city of Kalamazoo in partnership with the Kalamazoo County Health and Community Services Department has declared the affected area safe for citizen consumption and other purposes.

The areas where it is now safe to drink are as follows:

Southern Avenue – From Portage Street (western boundary) and Cameron Street (eastern boundary), both sides of street. Does NOT include the northeast corner of Southern Avenue and Portage Street. It also does NOT include northwest and southwest corners of Southern Avenue and Cameron Street.

Harvard Street – Only the southeast corner of Harvard Street and Southern Avenue.
