KENT COUNTY, Mich. — Jonqual Earnest Shaw was charged with Felony Murder, Open Murder, Armed Robbery, and Felony Firearm in the death of Markel Tyrel Williams by Kent County Prosecutor’s Office.
KCSO investigators believe Shaw and an accomplice tried to rob Williams on Jan. 6, 2021. Williams was shot and died later from his injuries at the hospital.
More details surrounded the case are being withheld as investigators learn more details surrounding the case. Shaw has no bond and was arraigned at the 63rd District Court today.
