ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — At 6 p.m. a 42-year-old male driving a 2002 GMC Sierra crashed into a patrol vehicle Allegan County Sheriff’s Office reports.
While the deputy was inside his vehicle the suspect crashed into him before fleeing the scene. Not shortly thereafter, the unnamed offender was arrested for suspicion of operating while intoxicated.
Both the driver and the officer lived, the officer having minor injuries and the driver refusing medical attention.
