The first positive case of the coronavirus has been reported by the Van Buren/Cass District Health Department.
The case is a woman in her 60s. She is in stable condition while in self-isolation at home.
The department says it is working identify people who have come into close contact with the woman. It did not say where the woman lives.
While this is the first COVID-19 in Van Buren County, the department says it anticipates more.
