THREE RIVERS, Mich. — A teen is in critical condition after being shot in the head Thursday just after midnight.
Three Rivers Police say they were called to the 500 block of Thomas Street for a shooting just after midnight. They found a 17-year-old young woman who had been shot in the head and in need of serious medical attention. She was taken to the hospital where they say she is in critical condition.
The 20-year-old suspect initially ran from the scene, but was suspected to be in a 3rd floor apartment on Erie Street. While surveying the area, police were able to get a search warrant for the apartment and were able to arrest the suspect.
Threee Rivers Police arrested the unidentified suspect for Assault with intent to murder and placed them in the St Joseph County Jail.
