BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich. — People who attended the Sandi Patty concert at Andrews University may have been exposed to COVID-19.
Patty announced Tuesday she tested positive for the virus Tuesday night, nine days after her concert in Berrien Springs.
The Berrien County Health Department says she hosted several people for an in-person greeting after the show. Everyone who went to the in-person greeting who was experiencing symptoms is being tested for COVID-19. The results of those tests are still pending.
Everyone who attended the concert and had close contact with Patty during the show are asked to self-quarantine at home and watch for COVID-19 symptoms like fever, cough and shortness of breath until March 22.
If someone in self-quarantine starts to experience symptoms, they are asked to call the Berrien County Health Department at 1-800-815-5485.
