UNION CITY, Mich. — A man was arrested in Union City this morning for theft of quarters of a local laundromat has been charged with several other offenses.
Michigan State Police troopers were dispatched around 6 a.m. Sunday morning to the Laundry Station in Union City, located in Branch County, for reports of a male stealing quarters from a quarter machine.
Troopers located the suspect and recovered the stolen quarters.
Through investigation, troopers discovered several offenses and arrested the male on all counts.
Troopers also located other items in the vehicle which they believe to be stolen.
MSP troopers arrested the man for Larceny in a Building, Breaking and Entering of a Coin Machine, Possession of Methamphetamine, a Weapons Offense, as well as Receive and Conceal Stolen Property.
