SOLON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Solon Fire Department (SFD) was on the scene Tuesday evening at a large structure fire.
SFD arrived on scene just after 6:30 p.m. to fight a house fire at 1685 Antler Drive NE in Cedar Springs.
Three people who live in the house got out prior to the department's arrival.
SFD was able to save two cats, who were at one point trapped inside the house.

Algoma Fire, Cedar Springs Fire and Sand Lake Fire provided mutual aid, a Facebook post said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
