MT. PLEASANT, Mich. — A table games dealer at Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort has tested positive for COVID-19, the casino announced Friday.

They did not develop symptoms until away from work, but the employee may have been contagious while working July 1 and 2 between noon and 8 p.m., according to a news release.

Anyone who experiences symptoms is encouraged to seek medical attention. Symptoms include fever, cough, fatigue, loss of sense of taste or smell, shortness of breath, muscle aches, headache and sore throat.

Soaring Eagle says they will contact any guests they can identify through their player tracking system who may have been exposed.

The casino has physical barriers in place at its table games and requires all employees and guests to wear masks.
