PORTAGE, Mich. — Police are investigating gunshots being fired at an apartment complex.
At about 2 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a report of shots fired at Selinon Park Apartments in Portage, at 1615 East Centre, according to the Portage Department of Public Safety today.
Officers found spent casings on the ground and what appeared to be two bullet holes in an apartment building.
There were no reported injuries.
A 23-year-old Portage resident told officers she discharged her handgun after allegedly being threatened with assault by a 23-year-old Kalamazoo resident due to a previous "confrontation."
The department said no arrests were made, and detectives continue to investigate the incident.
