PLAINWELL, Mich. — The Plainwell Department of Public Safety is looking into a fatal accident that occurred south of M89 this morning.
Police say they responded to reports of a vehicle in flames at around 4 a.m. Officers later discovered the vehicle fully engulfed on US-131 northbound, authorities say.
Plainwell DPS tells us the driver was pronounced dead on the scene, adding that the investigation is ongoing.
