MARNE, Mich. — One passenger was sent to the hospital in fair condition after a two-car crash in Wright Township.
Late Tuesday afternoon, emergency units from the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the area of Arthur Street at 24th Avenue in Wright Township to a two-car personal injury crash.
Investigation revealed that a 2018 Subaru Legacy, driven by a 92-year-old woman from Grand Rapids was traveling Southbound on 24th Ave and failed to stop at the posted stop sign.
The woman traveled into the path of a Westbound GMC Jimmy, driven by a 60-year-old woman from Coopersville.
The front seat passenger of the GMC Jimmy, a 63-year-old male was transported to Butterworth Hospital in fair condition.
Officers from Ottawa County were assisted by Wright/Tallmadge Fire-Rescue and LIFE Ambulance.
