DETROIT — Several train cars carrying hazardous material derailed in southwest Detroit Thursday morning.
WXYZ reports a train from Canadian National Railway had 12 cars derail near Clark Park, five of which were carrying hazardous material.
The Detroit Fire Department is working to determine what the substance is.
The train is three miles long.
