BERLIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Michigan State Police tweeted a picture of a citation Tuesday, the driver was caught going 180 miles per hour in a 70 mile per hour zone.

Though they pulled the tweet down, it advised "just because there is less traffic on the roads & warmer weather, there are no excuses for speeding."

Before the tweet was removed, FOX 17 was able to see the driver was heading south on I-75 and pulled over in Berlin Township.

The out-of-state driver was stopped just before midnight on April 19th. Remarks on the ticket from the driver say "My fault, I was speeding with another vehicle, sorry."
