GRANT TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Newaygo County Sheriff’s Office recovered multiple items following a string of trailer thefts in Newaygo and Oceana Counties.
Police made the announcement in a Facebook post Monday afternoon.
“During the search,” the post reads, “two trailers were recovered along with items from the Harvest Church larceny, methamphetamine, and various other stolen items.”
The recoveries were the result of a joint effort with the Central Michigan Enforcement Team and Michigan State Police, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
They say five suspects are in custody, all of whom are scheduled to appear in 78th District Court sometime this week.
