EVERGREEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — An 18-year-old woman is dead after a shooting in Montcalm County earlier this week.
Michigan State Police made the announcement on Twitter this evening.
It is with deepest sympathy that we report that the 18 year old female victim, from Greenville, passed away this afternoon. The investigation continues by the MSP Lakeview Post.

Authorities say they responded to a report of shots fired early Wednesday morning near the junction at Janet Street and Ann Street.
We’re told two female victims suffered gunshot wounds and that a person of interest was detained.
The other victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police say.
