An 18-year-old woman is dead after a shooting in Montcalm County earlier this week.
Michigan State Police made the announcement on Twitter this evening.

Authorities say they responded to a report of shots fired early Wednesday morning near the junction at Janet Street and Ann Street.
We’re told two female victims suffered gunshot wounds and that a person of interest was detained.
The other victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police say.
