LANSING, Mich. — Tuesday, Michigan received 400 ventilators from the Strategic National Stockpile to help during the coronavirus pandemic.
In a tweet, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said, "They’re on their way to hospitals in need across the state to help save lives. "

She says they're working to get more ventilators for hospitals across Michigan to make sure health providors have "the tools they need."
This comes after President Trump approved Governor Whitmer's disaster declaration on Saturday.
The declaration gives Michigan federal funding to supplement state, tribal and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by the coronavirus pandemic
