COLFAX TWNP., Mich. — Both victims of a two-vehicle crash in Mecosta County were left with injuries, none of which appear to be non-life threatening.
On Tuesday afternoon, Deputies from the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office responded to a two vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of 120th Ave and 13 Mile Rd.
The accident occurred when a 22-year-old female from Stanwood was traveling westbound on 13 Mile Rd and disregarded a stop sign at the intersection of 120th Ave.
The westbound vehicle broadsided a northbound vehicle driven by a 71-year-old male from Stanwood.
The male was transported to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The female was transported by family to Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies were assisted by Colfax Twp Fire/Rescue, Morton Twp Fire/Rescue, and Mecosta County EMS.
