GREEN TOWNSHIP — Three people were taken to area hospitals after a crash in Mecosta County on Friday afternoon.
A 17 year-old young woman heading north lost control of her vehicle on 195th Avenue near Spruce Road, sliding into the southbound lane. Her vehicle collided with a truck driven by a 50 year-old Reed City woman. The Hersey teen and her 20 year-old passenger were taken to Spectrum Big Rapids for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Reed City woman was taken with potentially life-threatening injuries to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, where she was treated and released.
