WHEATLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A man has been arrested for allegedly trying to set fire to a Mecosta County home while a family slept inside.

Harley Raglin, 24, was identified as a suspect after a separate fire on Dec. 7 at an unoccupied home in Remus.

Authorities say the recent incident is related to the attempted arson in May, which happened in Martiny Township in eastern Mecosta County.

He is charged with several felonies, including burglary, arson, using an incendiary device, aggravated assault and attempted murder, among others.
