MECOSTA, Mich. — A 35-year-old woman was injured after colliding with a ditch in Mecosta County on Wednesday.
The incident occurred on Johnson Road near 190th Avenue, the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office said.
The Stanwood woman lost control on the road, overturned and collided with the ditch, according to police. She was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected from the car.
Speed was believed to be a factor in the crash.
The woman and her passenger were transported to the hospital for their injuries. Their condition was not immediately known.
