LANSING, Mich. — A multitude of postal boxes in Lansing have been locked or temporarily removed ahead of possible protests this weekend.

The affected postal boxes consist primarily of the ones located downtown, according to the United States Postal Service.

We’re told the collection boxes will resume service on Friday, Jan. 22.

Residents are advised to deposit mail in other locations until then. Available locations can be discerned here.
