DETROIT — Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist joined representatives from Ford and DTE Energy at Ford's Michigan Assembly Plant for an announcement Wednesday morning about reducing the carbon footprint of Michigan's auto manufacturing.
It represents the latest step in the push to make Michigan a leader in electric vehicle manufacturing and infrastructure.
