COLDWATER — A popular drive-in theater is opening back up, even though they haven't been given the OK from the state.
The Capri Drive-in in Coldwater put up a marquee last month asking people to call the governor's office to petition their reopening.
However, Governor Whitmer's order says theaters can't open until May 28, but the family owned business has decided to open it's doors this Friday anyway.
The owners say they can implement social distancing, because people will be in their car and they will deliver food to customers.
They'll be showing Smokey and the Bandit, Jurassic Park, Trolls World Tour and Sonic the Hedgehog.
