JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — An Elkhart Indiana resident was hospitalized after crashing into a parked gas truck near the intersection of M-62 and Pine Lake in Jefferson Township.
It happened Friday night around 7:16 p.m. after 18-year-old Savannah McMillen turned into Ferrell Gas.
While she is expected to be ok, she was taken to Elkhart General by Pride Care for treatment.
Seat belts were worn, however alcohol does appear to be a factor, according to the Cass County Sheriff's Office.
Edwardsburg Ambulance and Pride Care EMS assisted with the incident.
