McDonald’s plans to hire more than 600 employees in West Michigan as it opens up more of its restaurants for dine-in customers, the company announced Wednesday.
It’s part of a statewide effort to hire more than 10,000 new employees in the coming months.
New safety procedures are in place to protect both employees and customers during the coronavirus pandemic, including social distancing floor stickers, temperature and wellness checks, protective barriers at ordering points and masks and gloves for employees.
Along with opportunities for learning soft skills on the job, McDonald’s offers tuition assistance, education and career advising services and the opportunity to learn English as a second language, the company said.
