PARK TWP, Mich. — Deputies were called to a hit-and-run crash on 159th Ave. just after 2 a.m. Saturday morning.

The driver was heading south when they left the road and hit the attached garage of a family home, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.

The homeowner was awakened by a series of loud crashes and the sound of a revving engine.

Once they looked outside, they saw the suspect's car turn around in the owner's driveway and head south again on 159th Ave.

They then found that their two stall attached garage had suffered serious damage, with some of the panels having been dragged away by the suspect.

Deputies found the door panels nearby, but were unable to find the suspect or their vehicle.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a silver mid-size SUV or Crossover with heavy damage to the front end and a missing passenger side exterior mirror.

This crash is still under investigation. If you have any information, call Ottawa County Central Dispatch at 1-800-249-0911 or Silent Observer.
